In the game Red Dead Redemption 2, there is a risk that the horse may die. There may be several reasons: careless driving, shooting, predator attack, falling from a great height. If the animal is seriously injured, Arthur will not be able to heal it, and the only way out will be to kill the animal himself.
If the main character dies for one reason or another along with the horse, the last save of the game will load automatically. But in the event that the death of the horse occurs a few seconds before Morgan, he will receive a new animal, and the saddle will pass to him. However, the previous connection level will be lost.
If Arthur is away from the stables or other horses, he will need to leave the saddle next to the dead animal. Then you will need to go to the nearest stable and choose another horse or buy a new one. As a result, the game will automatically move the saddle to a new horse with all the previous equipment.
If at the time of the animal's death, Morgan will be near the stable, it will only be enough to remove the saddle and install it on a new horse. It is not recommended to take a saddle with you between changes of horses.
