What is the ending in Mafia 3

There are three different endings in Mafia 3. The “good” one is where Lincoln leaves New Bordeaux once he gets his revenge on Sal Marcano. The city will then be successfully ruled by Vito Scaletta, the leader of the Italian mob. The second ending is more neutral. Lincoln decides to rule the city along with his lieutenants, rebuilding some neighborhoods and donating to charities. However, he remains a criminal who deserves to be punished for his crimes.

The third ending is the worst one. Lincoln shoots his friends and claims the whole criminal empire that they’ve built together. But once he gets in his car, it catches fire and explodes. In the final cutscene, we see father James confess that it was him who put a bomb under Lincoln’s car for all the things he did to innocent people.
