The mission «Ties that bind us» in RDR 2

"The ties that bind us" is one of the side quests in Red Dead Redemption 2. In it, Arthur meets escaped prisoners, and there are two options: either catch them and send them back to prison, or help them.

The mission marker will appear on Rhodes some time after the beginning of the fourth part. The prisoners are hiding near the city, one called Mr. black, the other Mr. white.

If you need to help prisoners

Helping the prisoners is that Arthur promises to find and remove all the posters with awards declared for their heads. There are five of them:

1. Poster № 1 at the railway station on the Bulletin Board.
2. Poster № 2 on the main street on a pole.
3. Poster № 3 should be hanging near the second one, but the bounty hunter will take it. Arthur's task is to catch up with the hunter outside the city and pick up the poster.
4. Poster № 4 on one of the many buildings on the wall.
5. Poster № 5 on a post under the protection of the enemy. He must be defeated in a fistfight and take the poster.

After that, the posters can be burned and the prisoners can escape.

If you need to catch prisoners

If the player decides to return the prisoners to the prison instead of helping them, then you will need to follow the following procedure.

After meeting white and black in the woods, Arthur will have to cut down one of them, and catch the second with a lasso.

After that, the captured prisoner will have to be taken to the Sheriff's office, and then return for the second and do the same with him. Morgan will be waiting for a reward of 80$

New meeting

In the event that the first option was initially chosen, Arthur can still find the prisoners again after some time. Their habitat will be Dewbury Creek, North of Rhodes.

Arthur will discover that they are ill. Morgan can give them medications if they are available, or make them himself.
