Custom shifter knob for ATS

It's always nice to see how the community of truck sims fans made something cool. And here we are again! After a triumphant procession through Kickstarter with their project SKRS USB 18 Speed Shift Knob, Cory and the guys from CSIO Technologies have created a company based on unique business plan - offering high-end custom hardware, designed specially for truck sim games. This idea itself deserves a mention in our newsletter, right?

The shifter knob uses an original Eaton Fuller system along with additional circuitry to interact with the game. The device is compatible with many high-class shifters: Fanatec, Thrustmaster TH8RS and TH8A, and Logitech G25, G27 and G29.

Speaking about the price, the device probably will be interesting to only the most hardcore fans. Although, as the world is full of people willing to pay $200-$300 for a steering wheel, just in order to drive a virtual truck CSIO Technologies has all the chances to find its audience.

By the way, along with the upcoming big update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, SCS Software will improve the setup screen and it will automatically identified a new device.
