Rock paintings in RDR 2

The game Red Dead Redemption 2 has 10 locations where you can find rock paintings. Their search is an integral part of the "Geology for beginners" mission. To get the trophy and pass the game 100%, you need to find everything. Moreover, the order of their location does not matter.

The mission starts in the cabin, which is located in the North-West of Strawberry. You will need to communicate with the young man standing on the porch. The beginning of the quest is marked on the Map below.

He will tell you about the drawings, and the player must then send him the coordinates of each. First, you need to find all 10, and then send the received information by mail. The result will be an invitation to the quest Creator.

Painting 1

The first drawing can be found on mount Hagen at the end of the road, which is located in the Grizzlies West region. It is carved on the slope itself.

The next one is in the Whinyard Straight, on the river side.

Painting 3

In Cumberland in the Western part, you need to get to the edge of the mountain, and then to the mountain pass that leads down. Another way to get to the desired point is to jump down, but you need to have full health, otherwise such a jump will cause the death of the main character.

Painting 4

There will be work to be done. We need to get to the mountains at Bacchus station, which are located on the South side of the river. Next, you need to climb to the top and find a passage that leads down between the trees. The drawing itself can be found near the top point.

The next drawing will be found to the South of Moonstone pond.

Painting 6

Roanoke is the next target. The drawing is located on the side of the road.

On the Eastern side of the Elysian pool, you can see another one.

Towards the North-West from the station Flatneck, close to the mountain peaks - another goal

It is necessary to go down the mountain on the path where the huge skeleton lies. Around the corner towards the abyss and there is another drawing.

The last one is Owanjila Lake

After sending the coordinates by mail, you need to wait a couple of days. During this period, you can go outside the city and create a camp there. Next, you need to sleep twice, then wait for some time, and then take two more NAPs. Then you can go back to the post office, where there will be a letter from Francis Sinclair inviting him to the cabin, where the search was started.

Return to Sinclair

This is the final stage of the mission. After receiving the invitation you need to wait until the location of Francis does not appear on the Map. As soon as a white mark appears on it, you can safely start your journey.

When the character reaches the goal, he learns that Sinclair has been dead for more than a year. He will talk to his wife and see his son, who will have a birthmark, just like his father.

In fact, Francis Sinclair is a time traveler, and the rock paintings, which were mostly futuristic paintings, are clearly a message from the future. He needed the coordinates to find the portal that was somewhere between them. So he could go back to his own time.

Once all the stages of the quest are completed, the player gets 1% to complete the mission.
