The game is the sequel of the famous series of simulators - Euro Truck Simulator, the second of which brought developers a lot of popularity among fans of driving games. The new game promises to make changes in the already beloved by many mechanics, making the game more interesting and realistic.

ATS, also known as American Truck Simulator California, at the release time will have only California and the surrounding areas. At the moment it is confirmed that the game will be more than 100 cities, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Oxnard, carlsbad, CA, Huron, Fresno County Siskey, Sacramento, San Rafael, Barstow, Bakersfield, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Stockton, Primm, Oakland, El Centro, and Truckee. Also there are several types of truck games: Peterbilt 579, the Kenworth W900L, Kenworth T680 and the Volvo VNL 780.

The developers are not going to dwell only on American Truck California, and soon after a game's release, they plan to release in the form of DLC other USA States, each of them with a huge number of roads, cities and their own unique landscapes. Perhaps after the reinstatement of the U.S., the developers take over Mexico and Canada, and then the game will be presented to the entire continent of North America.
